have 21 active brood jennets that we breed approximately every two years.
We have 4 young jennets that will not be bred until they are, at least, four years of age so that they are not expected to raise foals of their own until they are mature at five years of age or older.
If other breeders followed this practice we could possibly keep the donkey market from falling and our donkeys happier and healthier. As these young jennets are added to our breeding program we will be offering
some of our other jennets for sale to keep our herd at a manageable number.
We want to always be able to give each of our donkeys the individual attention
that they crave.

This will be Junebug's last foal and she really outdid herself with this one. As all Junebug's foals have been, Juicy is very heavy boned and wide with correct conformation. She has two dark eyes with eyeliner all around both eyes. Her spot pattern is pretty close to 50/50 which most of the judges are looking for. We are very pleased with this jennet and because of Junebug being Linda Trimnell's favorite jennet and the last one she let go before her passing we are keeping this little girl. I just can not sell Junie's last jennet foal.
